So I know it has been a while since I have posted so I have some catching up to do!! Tampa was great and everything went fine. Besides when we were leaving Tampa our plane went to back up and the engine shut down. The captain came on the speaker and said "we cannot get the engine restarted. We are going to have to get someone out here to jump us off". Oh my gosh!! I started to get of the plane, but i looked around and no one seemed to be freaking out so I started taking deep breaths!Besides that great trip! Plus someone actually acknowledged me as pregnant and not just fat!!

The Monday following our return from Tampa, we had our big doctors appointment. They had told me to make sure I drank 32oz of water prior to ultrasound and I chose to drink a little caffeine so this baby would be in motion. I started drinking water about 30 minutes before appointment and when i arrived the receptionist says "the ultrasound tech is with another pt and i have some bad news. Our water is off so we do not have working toilets" Are you kidding me!!! A room full of preggos and no toilet. What a nightmare! So I was able to hold it till ultrasound time thankfully.

We go in for ultrasound and thanks to caffeine Floyd is all over the place. It is amazing to me that they can be so active and you can't feel it to begin with. The tech said everything looked good and asked if we wanted to know the sex. With Jacob holding my hand we both said "yes". Its a Boy!!!! I am one excited mom right now. They also made a cool little video of the ultrasound for us to watch and share. We left the appointment and went straight to target and picked out 5 outfits all of which say "mom" or "dad".

So now we are trying to decide on a boys name and quick because Floyd is starting to stick. The current fav is Bryce! but we are still undecided. I finally picked out a color to paint our first 3 rooms ( bathroom, baby rooms, and hallway). It is a boring tan but I really like the color. Jake has been working hard every afternoon to try to get this house painted. (bless his heart).

I felt Bryce move this past weekend for the first for sure time. I had been feeling something but was not quite sure what I was feeling. This weekend I think he was punching me. I felt it 3 times and then what felt like him rolling around. Truly an amazing experience. It makes it so real!!

I decided on a crib bedding set from pottery barn and of course it is no longer available but I was able to locate one in the store in bham. It is so cute! It has little turtles on it!

We have wedding number 3 this weekend. Thankfully we do not have to travel for this one. I am getting some real good wear out of my navy maternity dress.

I am feeling really good and I am loving the belly rubs from friends and family. It is such a wonderful experience to be able to share with the people you love! It is becoming more real to jake especially since the ultrasound. He is amazing!! Well back to yard work!!
